Currently- March edition!!

I'm linking up with Farley for this months currently!!

As you probably know, Duck Dynasty just started their new season!!
We just love that show. I DVR'ed it and I'm just getting around to watching it!
That's a fact Jack!

Where did February go?? Seriously, it was just starting and POOF! It's gone! I know I missed the last week of it when our city got hit by the big winter blast! We got over 21 inches of snow in 5 days and we had 4 consecutive snow days off from school-- that is unheard of where we live!  Needless to say, we are all glad to be back to work! We had cabin fever for real!!

Is it too early to be thinking about summer vacation plans?  NEVER!!!
I'm so excited for this summer-- my hubby will be coming home and we will all be catching up on some much needed family time!  We have plans to go back home to GA and FL to visit family, we have 3 weddings to attend and my hubby and I want to take a special vacation just for us with no kiddos!  And did I mention I'm going to the Vegas I teach K conference again?  YEAH BUDDY!!!  We are going to be on the move this summer!

I'm wanting March and April to hurry up---something serious!  My husband is currently deployed and he returns sometime at the beginning of May.... We cannot wait!!!  He left the day after Christmas and it has already be a VERY long 2 months.... but we are on the down hill now so hurry, hurry, hurry March!! I would do anything to hug him right now...or even just see him face to face! Love you babe (if you're reading this)!!

So, on that note of the hubby being gone, I'm all alone with 2 kids- 5 years old and 19 months old.... and this tired mama needs a break!! For real, I love my babies but I'd give my right arm to just have one morning to sleep in past 6:45!  And a massage would also be pretty grand!

(For this section I know they are all supposed to start with the first letter of my name which is 'E' for Elizabeth.... seriously??  That is super hard, so I'm breaking the rules...Shhhh, don't tell!)
Like: I like the gym! We have a love/hate relationship but it does keep me sane.  I try to go often to let the kids play in the kidzone and to get a change of scenery from the house!
Love: My hubby--enough said!
Hate: Drama! I love that I moved from my hometown and got away from my "pre-married" life.  It wasn't horrible but I just felt like I needed to get away....grow... and put down roots in a new place with new friends and surroundings! I just knew I didn't want to run into ex's my entire adult life! And I feel like I've done a rather good job of steering clear of any other drama in my life.  Nice and simple does it for me!! I avoid drama at all cost! "Ain't nobody got time for that!"

Okay, go link up if you haven't already! I can't wait to read all about you!!!

  2. I love Duck Dynasty! We can watch episodes over and over. I'm also with you on zero drama. Drama is not my idea of fun! Anyway, hope you have a fantastic weekend! Oh, and tell your hubby thank you for keeping us free. Every time I get irritated with my hubby I think about how tough it must be for people who don't see their hubbies for months at a time. I found you through Farley's Link Up :)

  5. February did go by in a flash, didn't it?! I'm sure March will be there same. :) I'm super-pumped about the return of Duck Dynasty as well. I teased my husband relentlessly when he would be watching during Season 1. And now -Look here, I'm Hooked, Jack!! :)

  8. I found your blog through Farley's link up! I am so excited that Spring Break is almost here! Our last day is March 28th. As for sleeping in I realized this morning that because of the events going on this weekend I will not get to sleep in! I guess a afternoon nap will be in order at some point.

    I am your newest follower!
