I don't know about where you live, but here in Kansas we've gotten a lot of rain in the month of April so far.
So in honor of all the rainy days we've been having, I decided to make a cute rainy day craft! I bought this cute craft a year ago from A Cupcake for the Teacher. I knew it would be perfect to do with my kids.
It took my kids a while to get it cut out glued together, but I knew we needed to go slow in order for them to come out cute. And boy oh boy, are they cute! Take a look!
Take a look at how good their writing is!! This is one happy teacher!
(On rainy days I stay inside. On rainy days I watch the rain.)
(On rainy days I play and get to wet. On rainy days I play with my brother.)
(On a rainy day I like to play with the iPad.)
(On rainy days I play with my tablet with my friend. I play with Reese.)
(On rainy day it is fun. I play outside. I like rainy days.)
(On rainy days I play outside. I play outside with my baby. I play outside in the mud.)
(On rainy days I play outside. I play on a tablet. I play in my room.)
(On rainy days I play with my DS. I play with my brother.)
Aren't these just the cutest ducks ever??? I love them!

You should! My kids couldn't quit 'quacking' around the room! It was kinda cute!!
DeleteThese are adorable!!! I might be putting these into our plans too because it's looking like we'll get some more rain this week! :) It's always great to have a craft to connect to writing. My kids always seem to do so much better! Thanks!

Yes, I tie in writing to EVERY craft we do now. It really shows what the kids can do!
